1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the use of the internet network provided by Hotel U Tří hrušek, Business ID: 26049058, registered at Chudenická 1059/30, Praha, as the provider of access to electronic communication services ("Provider"), by guests of the hotel ("User").
By connecting to and using the internet service (e.g. Wi-Fi), the User agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Description of the Service
The hotel provides guests with wireless internet access (Wi-Fi), either free of charge or for a fee (according to the current terms displayed during login). The service is intended for personal use during the guest’s stay.
3. User Responsibilities
The User agrees to:
- Refrain from violating applicable laws of the Czech Republic, the EU, or third-party rights.
- Not use the network to share illegal, harmful, hateful, misleading, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Not send spam, malware, or any other malicious software.
- Not overload the network or attempt to access other users’ devices or services unlawfully.
- Respect copyright laws, privacy rights, and other legal obligations.
4. Limitations and Monitoring
The Provider reserves the right to:
- Temporarily or permanently restrict or block a User’s access in the event of a breach of these terms.
- Monitor traffic only to the extent necessary and in accordance with legal obligations, to ensure the security and functionality of the service, and in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065.
- In case of suspected illegal activity or upon legal obligation, the Provider may disclose necessary information – including connection and activity data – to competent administrative or judicial authorities, in compliance with applicable legislation.
- Handle complaints, according to to the best of their ability.
5. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the GDPR and other relevant EU and Czech legislation. Connection data may be stored to prevent misuse, as legally required.
6. Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 – Digital Services Act (DSA)
As an "intermediary service provider" under the DSA, the Provider:
- Is not liable for content accessed, shared, or transmitted by the User unless it becomes aware of illegal content.
- Has the right to act upon notice of illegal content (as per Article 16 of the DSA) and may cooperate with competent authorities.
- Enables Users to report abuse or illegal activity via email at: u.hrusku@seznam.cz.
7. Disclaimer
The Provider is not responsible for:
- Interruptions or limitations in network availability.
- Data loss or damage incurred through use of the internet.
- Third-party content accessed via the network.
8. Final Provisions
These terms are effective from 17.04.2024. The Provider reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Any changes will be appropriately communicated.
By using the connection, the User confirms they have read and agree to these terms.
